    The Boeing customer code is still valid for this aircraft.
    So the correct type is B747-8B5F.

    After L/N 1533, starting with L/N 1534 the Boeing customer code is not listed anymore at the 747 FAA Type certificate, only the subtypes 747-8F or -8 are indicated.

      We have update entries for HL7639 and updated the Blog to reflect the changes Boeing has made in regards to no longer using Customer codes as follows:

      Boeing 737 from LN 6082 forward
      Boeing 737 (P-8A) from LN 6020 forward
      Boeing 747 from LN 1534 forward
      Boeing 767 from LN 1102 forward
      Boeing 777 from LN 1422 forward
