    I'm still waiting for further information but these aircraft are leased from as yet a unknown leasing company.
    The leasing company has been allocated the customer code of "MD" hence this is the reason they are a -8MD & not the usual -8AS as they were not bought direct from Boeing.

    The company Is called "Aviation Finance and Leasing S.à.r.l."

    The Director of which is Michael O'Leary, CEO of Ryanair.
