What about this bird? Has long stood in KPAE, very strange
ReplyDeleteFrom what I know Air Austral could not pay for it..... yet
ReplyDeleteAir Austral's core services are from the island of La Reunion in the Indian Ocean to points in France. I read just last week that they are 'restructuring' and will shortly be pulling off their only other long-haul route to Sydney, Australia and Noumea, New Caledonia (which they only restarted in February). They are also stopping some flights to regional points in France. Maybe they no longer need this 'LR' aircraft and it might come back from PDX 'all white'?
ReplyDeleteThe only thing that really makes sense is that Boeing/Air Austral have now found someone to take the plane, and it's in Portland to be repainted into the new buyer's colors. Guess we'll know in a few days who that is.
