I regularly check out this site and HNLRarebirds blog for news on Malaysia Airline aircraft deliveries. On 16th May 2012, I took a flight on 9M-MXI which quite suprised me as there is no mention of first flights and delivery of the aircraft here. HNLRarebirds only mentioned the aircraft on boeing production line in its 11th May post.

ReplyDelete9M-MXI is planned to deliver in July 2012 so i don't know how you managed to take a flight on it ! sure you wasn't flying on a A330 9M-MKI ?
For whatever reason i think you have mis-read the registration you were flying on.
